Main Campus
Dev Bhoomi Campus is located in a serene environment, in the picturesque location
of the lower
Six Professional Institutions (each having individual premises /
buildings) are operated under Uttrakhand Uthan Samiti, a non-profit Society, professionally
managed by the Eminent Academicians, Industrialists and Scientists. Keeping in
tune with the upsurge in technical developments, the Samiti being committed to
the cause of quality education, has established Six Temples of Learning and
Innovations. These are :

The students intake in the year 2005 in the campus was only around
200, which has increased to the level of 2800+ in the year 2009-10, on account
addition of courses and above institutions as mentioned herein. Similarly the
faculty strength at present has reached to the level of 200 teachers.

The Management
“UTTARAKHAND UTHAN SAMITI”
(UUS) came into existence on 14th May 2004 with the aim of fulfillments of the
longfelt need to impart quality technical education at an affordable cost in
the region. The Society is registered with the Registrar of Societies,
Uttarakhand, under the Societies Registration Act (Registration No. 20181 D).
The Promoter & the Chairman of the Society is Shri. Sanjay Bansal, an
eminent entrepreneur of Dehradun.
The Infrastructure
The Dev
Bhoomi Group of Institution in Dev Bhoomi Campus is having excellent modern infrastructural
facilities. In addition to classrooms, there are several required number of
Laboratory Rooms to impart the course curriculum, housed with latest Lab Equipments,
Measuring Instruments and Scientific Modern Gadgets & Computers, for
conducting purposeful experiments for Practical Work and Research / Innovation.
Also, there is a huge Central Library in addition to respective course
libraries, as per the norms. All Infrastructural requirements are fulfilled as
per AICTE guidelines, to achieve better Academic Ambience. The classroom
sessions are undertaken by the Faculty Members through Powerpoint Presentation,
operated from their respective laptops and / or with the help of LCD / OHD
projectors. Each of the students & the Faculty Members, is provided with a
modern Laptop. The whole campus is having the facility of Wi- Fi connectivity.

Software
Development Cell.
To
promote practical exposure and team spirit among the students the Institution
has established an Inhouse Software Development
Cell with distinguished Hardware & Software facilities in order to infuse Developmental
Exposure & Skills to the Students and to the Faculty Members, so as to equip them to
match the requirement of the Industry.
Corporate
To
provide state of the art experience and practical exposure on latest
technologies, the Institute has established Corporate Training Centre, in
association with various Corporate Houses, namely SUN, CISCO ,HCL and REDHAT,
ORACLE etc. This cell, is conducting various Value Addition Modules viz. CCNA,
SCJP, RHCE, OCA, OCP, etc at No Cost.
Certified Trainers of HCL & HP regularly conduct the Programs on
various cutting edge technologies, within the premises of the Institutions at
The Dev Bhoomi Campus. HP conducts
regular courses in the campus for the benefit of students, such as DOT NET,
LINUX etc.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell: The Institution has established Entrepreneurship Development Cell
in Association with Ministry of Industry & Industrial Development, Govt of
India. A Chapter in this regard has been established in Dev Bhoomi Campus to
conduct regular activities for the benefit of the Students.
IIT Mumbai- CDEEP Program: The Institution
has entered into the MOU with IIT Mumbai, to offer Online Lectures and Study
Material to its Students through VSAT. Students and Faculty Members use this
facility to explore newer opportunities in the field of Research &
Development, to augment their knowledgebase.
Personality Development by
Experts: The Institution
has arranged Modern Personality Development Course Sessions, by the Eminent Experts
for its students, so that they may meet the expectations of the Corporate world.

Training
& Placement
Placements in the
Institutions are conducted under the aegis of the "Training &
Placement Department' which is essentially the Student Representative Body,
under the able guidance of Senior
Management Experts, dedicated for committed Training & Placement Officers.
DBIT Group, amongst the one of the rare Institutions, provides Summer Training
to 100% students of Second and Third Year Students of B. Tech courses as well
as for MBA & MCA Courses, as prescribed by the University .
Various National and
Multinational Companies have found DBITians suitable for respective Job
profiles. It is a matter of pride for Training & Placement Cell that all 100%
students of last two Passout batches of M.B.A, have already been placed in
companies of repute. Moreover several students got more than Four Offer Letters.
More than 165 students of
B.Tech first batch, were placed by the efforts of the Placement Department.
Placement exercises for current batches are also going on with full swings till
now more than 70 students have been places as on now of B.Tech into various
companies like Zensar Technology ,Wipro Bpo ,Converges etc & 32 students
from MBA Branch have also been placed as of now in companies like Angel
Broking, Cryo Bank, even before completion of their courses. Several other
companies are going to conduct their campus placements in current year.
Overseas
Contacts as well as Industry Academic
linkages
Suitable linkages have already
been made to foster Research & Exchange activities and also to promote the
concept of Education Industry Tourism, in order to advent new areas of job
opportunities for overseas exchange programmes with Bradford University
‘Hampston’ U.K., ‘Lathrobe Universty’ ‘Australia’.
Extra-Curricular
Activities
Sports: Institute has developed enough facilities to
organize various Indoor and Outdoor games and sports viz. Cricket, Hockey, Basket
Boll, Volley Boll, Table-Tennis, Badminton, etc within the Campus and Hostels. In the Afternoon, and Evening,
Students play the games and sports, according to their interests, throughout
the year.
Annual Sports Weeks and Institute level Tournaments
are organized within the Campus, which students participate with full efforts and get
laurels / prizes . Students are also encouraged to participate in Inter-Institutional
Sports Events, held at various levels, including State and National Levels.
Cultural Festivals: Institute believes in overall
development of the students. Keeping that in mind, every year, a series of Cultural
Festivals, are organized, in which students showcase their hidden talents in
the areas of solo and group singing, dancing, allocation of poetry etc
Technical Festivals: Institute encourages healthy Technical
Competitions among the students, both at Institute and Inter-Institute levels.
Various Technical Events and Festivals are organized throughout the year, to
provide a platform to meet the insatiable desire of innovation & excellence
among the students.
Seminars & Conferences: Institute
is committed to provide World Class Quality Education to its students. Apart
from normal academics, students are also supposed to remain updated about the
latest Developments and Inventions of the newer theories, in Engineering and Management
Streams. Therefore, Seminars, Guest Lectures and Conferences, are organized within
the campus, in which eminent Scientists, Engineers, CEOs and Academicians
represent and discuss about their
thoughts & experiences regarding various areas of Technologies and
Management subjects.
Professional Societies Students Chapters: Institute encourages and propagates exhaustive
research, innovation and publications among the students. In this endeavourer
Institute has opened chapters of various professional societies viz. CSI, IETE
and IME etc.
